The Philippine Dragon Boat Federation, grateful for the support of the Philippine Sports Commission, endeavors to defend its world record and title in Premiere Open 200m event.
In 2008, the Men's and Women's teams won a combined record of 1 Gold, 9 Silver and 2 Bronze medals in the 8th Asian Dragon Boat Federation Championships held in Penang, Malaysia.
The Men's Team won 3 bronze medals in the 1st Asian Beach Games. They have consistently won medals in the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).
Their Federation is recognized by the Philippine Olympic Committee as the national governing association for dragon boating.
